Last night when I came up with the idea for doing this challenge, I thought this was going to be easy. like really easy. so easy in fact that I could just come up with an idea on the spot and do this fairly quickly. Well I was wrong, and for two reasons. Firstly, I gave myself a challenge to ultimately better myself and hopefully improve my writing ability, and I am already trying to take the easy way out by doing the bare minimum. Secondly, this is not as easy as I thought it would be, this is my third or fourth time rewriting this. Long story short I have learned my first lesson with this and will avoid “mailing it in” going forward.
I don’t want to count today as a total win because I did try and half-ass it, but I did come back and that counts a little bit. It’s not much but I’ll take it. Going forward I really want to try and take this challenge as an opportunity to try some different things and do more creatively oriented stories, rather than blog posts. If you can even call them that, haha.
I am going to try and take some time to really think of a concept for tomorrow that’ll be more of a captivating read, something that could be broken into several parts, and could be sprinkled across this challenge. I am not really someone who ever plans things, I much more prefer to wing it. I am also not the most organized individual so things can be a little chaotic. I have always had a theory about myself that I enjoy momentary chaos. Why? you may ask, well I have no idea, just one of my quirks I suppose.
